Step 1. Install VMware Workstation on Your Current Windows 10

  • Click on the VMware installation file and then select Next.
  • Make sure to check the box next to I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next.
  • Click Next and Next on the 2 upcoming screens.
  • At last, click Install and then Finish.

Step 2. Create Windows 11 Virtual Machine

  • Open VMware and choose to Create a New Virtual Machine.

  • Now, select Typical (recommended) and then click Next.

  • Select I will install the operating system later and then select Next.

  • Now, select Microsoft Windows and select Windows 10 x64 next to the Version and then click Next.

  • Give a name to the virtual machine like Windows 11 and then click Next.

  • Now, set the disk size. Make sure to set over 60 GB of disk space. Select Store virtual disk as a single file and then click Next.

  • Choose Customize Hardware.

  • Go to Memory and then select at least 2 GB or over than that.

  • Go to the Processors and choose more than 2 Processors.

  • Choose CD/DVD/ (SATA), Select Use ISO image file, and then click Browse.

  • Select Windows 11 ISO image and then click Open.

  • Now, click Close.

  • Click on Power on this virtual machine.

 

  • Select your preferred language and click Next.
