Method 1: Resizing an image on iPhone through the Shortcuts app

Step 1: Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone and then tap the0 “+“ icon at the top right-hand corner.
Step 2: Tap the 3 dots menu and then enable Show in Share Sheet.
Step 3: Choose the Share Sheet Types, select just Images and go to the Details page and tap Done
Step 4: Tap the “+“ button, select Media, and scroll down to choose to Get Images from the Input.
Step 5: Tap the “+“ and choose Resize Image. You can set image sizes or simply tap Ask Each Time. Noo
Note: Selecting high images sizes or setting high resolutions are better than the lower ones which as a result, the photo lose its quality if you set the sizes too low.
Step 6: Tap again on “+“ and choose Convert image. By default, the photos will be converted to JPEG. You can also change it to PNG and some other formats.
Step 7: Tap the “+” again, choose Documents, tap on Save File and turn on the option Ask Where to Save then tap Next at last.
Step 8: Now, go to the Photos app and choose an image you want to resize. Tap the share icon then scroll down and select Resize Image and choose where to save it and tap on Save.
Method 2: Reduce an image’s size on iPhone via E-mail
Resizing photos on iPhone through E-mail is another simple and easy way.
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Open the Photos app on your iPhone
Step 2: Select the photo you want to Resize and tap on the share icon
Step 3: Choose the Mail from the screen that will open the Mail app with the selected photo attached.
Step 4: Now, type in your own email address to send the photo to yourself and then tap on Send button at the top right-hand corner. Select your preferred size from the small screen that shows the different sizes.
